Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania!
Your family adventure begins as you land at
Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our friendly guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Relax and enjoy a delicious dinner, preparing for the incredible journey ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Materuni Waterfall – Nature & Culture
Start your day with a scenic drive to the picturesque
Materuni Waterfall, located near the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Take a short, family-friendly hike through lush vegetation to reach the waterfall, where you’ll enjoy stunning views and a chance to cool off in the fresh mountain air.
Afterward, visit a nearby
coffee farm, where your family can learn about traditional coffee-making techniques from the local Chagga people and even participate in roasting and brewing your own coffee. Return to Arusha in the evening.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park – Elephants and Baobabs
After breakfast, head to
Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a family-friendly game drive as you explore the park’s diverse wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and predators like lions and leopards.
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the park’s scenic beauty before retiring to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – Flamingos and Tree-Climbing Lions
Today, your family will visit
Lake Manyara National Park, a gem known for its lush forests, colorful flamingos, and
tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a morning game drive to spot hippos, elephants, monkeys, and a variety of bird species.
In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – A Natural Wonder
After breakfast, we drive to the world-famous
Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a game drive through this natural amphitheater, home to the
Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) and a dense concentration of other wildlife.
After a full day of exploration, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 6-8: Serengeti National Park – Endless Plains and Great Migration
Your journey continues to
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destination. Spend the next three days exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains and witnessing its abundant wildlife.
- Day 6: Explore the Central Serengeti, known for its resident lion prides, cheetahs, and leopards.
- Day 7: Track the Great Migration, a world-famous phenomenon featuring millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles.
- Day 8: Enjoy a morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti (seasonal), where you may witness the dramatic Mara River crossings (July to October).
Optional: Add a
hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti for an unforgettable sunrise experience ($546 per person).

Day 9: Serengeti to Mto wa Mbu – Cultural Experience

Day 10: Return to Arusha – Farewell to Tanzania
