Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania!
Upon arrival at
Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by our friendly guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Relax at your leisure and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we drive to
Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet stunning destination known for its diverse landscapes and wildlife. During your game drive, keep an eye out for
tree-climbing lions, pink flamingos, and hippos basking in the lake.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park (Southern Serengeti)
Today, we journey to the legendary
Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands along the way. You’ll enjoy a scenic drive into the southern Serengeti plains, where the
Great Migration often begins, especially from December to March during the calving season.
The southern Serengeti is teeming with wildlife, offering the chance to see predators like lions and cheetahs in action.

Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park (Central & Northern Serengeti)
For the next two days, immerse yourself in the heart of the
Great Migration. We’ll explore the
Central Serengeti and
Northern Serengeti, two key regions for wildlife viewing throughout the year.
- Central Serengeti: Known as “Seronera,” this area is home to diverse wildlife, including large lion prides, leopards, and giraffes.
- Northern Serengeti: This region features dramatic Mara River crossings (from July to October), where thousands of wildebeests risk their lives to evade crocodiles and reach the lush Masai Mara in Kenya.
Optional: Add a
hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti for an unforgettable sunrise experience ($546 per person).

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, we leave the Serengeti behind and head to the world-renowned
Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for an afternoon game drive.
The Ngorongoro Crater is home to one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including the
Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. It’s also a birder’s paradise with species like flamingos and crowned cranes often spotted.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha – Departure
On your final day, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before we drive back to Arusha. Along the way, reflect on the incredible experiences and wildlife encounters you’ve had during this 7-day safari. After lunch in Arusha, you’ll be transferred to
Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
