Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania!
Your family safari begins as you arrive at
Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be met by our friendly driver. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha and spend the evening relaxing in preparation for your adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Elephants and Baobabs
After breakfast, head to
Tarangire National Park, where you’ll enjoy your first game drive. Known as the “Land of Giants,” Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephants, stunning baobab trees, and vibrant wildlife.
After a picnic lunch in the park, continue your exploration, spotting giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators like lions and leopards.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we drive to the beautiful
Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive, where you can spot
tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippos. The park is also home to monkeys, elephants, and a wide variety of bird species.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today, your family will travel to the
Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way. Once at the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into this natural wonder for a game drive on the crater floor.
Known for its dense wildlife population, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best places in Africa to spot the
Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5-7: Serengeti National Park – Great Migration Adventure
The journey continues to
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most iconic safari destination. Spend the next three days exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains and witnessing its rich biodiversity.
- Day 5: Travel to the Central Serengeti, known as Seronera, for a game drive in one of the park’s most wildlife-rich areas.
- Day 6: Enjoy full-day game drives tracking the Great Migration, a world-famous spectacle involving millions of wildebeests, zebras, and predators like lions and cheetahs.
- Day 7: Explore the Northern Serengeti (if traveling from July to October) for a chance to witness the dramatic Mara River crossings.
Optional: Add a
hot air balloon safari for a bird’s-eye view of the Serengeti ($546 per person).

Day 8: Serengeti to Mto wa Mbu – Cultural Experience
After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, journey to
Mto wa Mbu, a vibrant village near Lake Manyara. Here, your family can immerse themselves in Tanzanian culture with a guided tour. Learn about local traditions, taste delicious Swahili cuisine, and explore colorful markets.

Day 9: Return to Arusha – Farewell to Tanzania
On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before we drive back to

Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
